Joanne Paul completed her BAH at Queen’s University, Canada before pursuing an MA in Political Science at the University of Victoria under the supervision of Professor James Tully. 

She is currently a PhD student in the School of History at Queen Mary, University of London where she is writing a thesis on the discourses of counsel in sixteenth-century Anglophone thought under the supervision of Professor Quentin Skinner.
